CRUSHERS RALLY TO TAKE 4-2 WIN OVER LUMBERJACKS

The Nauss Tim-Br-Mart Lumberjacks got off to a good start in New Glasgow on Thursday night taking a 2-0 lead over the second place Weeks Crushers. Ryan Getson & Mike Snow scored for the Lumberjacks. From then on it was the Crushers who took over as they scored four straight goals on route to the 4-2 win. The Crushers outshot the Lumberjacks and Philip Wright 50 - 35. Wright was the game's third star. The Lumberjacks return to action Friday night when they tangle with the Woodstock Slammers, who lead the Meek Division. Game time is 7:00 PM.

FIRST PLACE BEARCATS EDGE LUMBERJACKS 5-3

The Nauss Tim-Br Mart Lumberjacks played the Bent Division leading Truro Bearcats even for over two periods, thanks in part to a strong performance by Lumberjacks netminder Travis Hall. Jordan Burke & Jeff Marchand scored in the first period to send the teams to the first intermission tied at two. Mike Snow's goal in the second sent the teams to the second intermission tied at three. Yuri Cheremetiev scored the winner for Truro and added an empty net goal to seal the win. Travis Hall turned aside 42 shots in the Lumberjacks net. Jordan Burke was the game's second star. The Lumberjacks return to action Thursday night when they travel to New Glasgow to tangle with the Crushers and then return home for a Friday night game against the Woodstock Slammers and a Sunday afternoon tilt with the Miramichi Timberwolves. 

MIKE SNOW RETURNS TO LINE-UP AND GAMES FIRST STAR

The Nauss Tim-Br Mart Lumberjacks welcomed back Mike Snow from the injury list Friday night and the slick forward responded by being named the games first star. Together with Shawn Frank, the games second star, they led the Lumberjacks to a 5-2 win over the Dieppe Commandos. Three third period goals broke open a 2-2 game and sent the Lumberjacks and goaltender Travis Hall to the win. Hall turned aside 30 Dieppe shots. Jordan Burke added a pair ogf goals for the winners. The Lumberjacks now head to Halifax for a Sunday tilt with the Halifax Lions.

LUMBERJACKS WIN AT HOME AND LOSE ON THE ROAD

The Nauss Tim-Br Mart Lumberjacks split their two week-end games shut-outing Yarmouth Mariners 6-0 at home Friday night and then dropping a 5-1 decision in Truro, to the Division leading Bearcats.
