The tourney will consist of Recreational CO-ED teams, consisting of 12 teams in total, with the purpose of playing for fun, dusting of the old ball gloves for those who may not have played in awhile and supporting our Junior “A” Hockey team.

Following the great success of last year's event, the 2nd Annual Celebrity Dinner is being held August 13th 2010 at Rodney Grace and Glenn Murray's new Best Western Hotel and Suits.

Former NHL'er and hilarious speaker Dennis Hull will be the guest speaker. Glenn Murray will also be there.  Additionally, there will auctions and prices. The start time is 5:30pm and the tickets are $65/ea.

The 2010 MJAHL Draft is being hosted this year by the Bridgewater Lumberjacks June 11th & 12th. The weekend begins Friday morning, June 11th with the Board of Governors Meetings. Friday afternoon, Osprey Ridge Golf Course will welcome the teams to the 2nd Annual Jed Ritcey Memorial Golf Challenge. This popular event is an opportunity for teams to enjoy a day of golfing while recognizing the contribution Jed made to hockey in Nova Scotia and to the MJAHL. A reception will follow the Golf Tournament at Osprey Ridge. Saturday morning features the QMJHL Supplementary Draft and the General Manager's Meetings. The highlight of the weekend is the MJAHL Draft held at the Bridgewater Memorial Arena, Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM. A number of events are planned for the Arena property Saturday morning that fans will want to take advantage of. The Draft itself is open to the public and all are invited into the arena to watch as teams conduct the draft of midget eligible players, the future of the MJAHL.
